We believe that maintaining your pet’s good health requires a joint effort between you and your veterinary team to tailor a plan of care that meets the specific needs of your pet. To ensure the highest level of care, we review each patient’s medical history, perform a thorough physical examination, and discuss various options as well as provide preventative care education.

New Clients

Crossroads Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Seneca SC area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Kathy Jordan, who is a licensed, experienced Seneca veterinarian.

Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Crossroads Animal Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Dr. Jordan became board certified in Canine/Feline Practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 2019. This means she did additional training beyond what is needed to be a licensed veterinarian. Becoming board certified is a several year process which includes written extensive case reports which are then graded by specialists, followed by a comprehensive board examination. There are only a few ABVP board certified veterinarians in South Carolina. You can learn more at abvp.com

WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

We do so through our rescue, Crossroads Animal Rescue (CARE). In addition, Dr. Jordan and our practice manager, Chad, are involved in Promise International, a non profit which helps children in Uganda, Africa.

Meet Kathy Jordan, DVM

Dr. Jordan grew up in Piedmont, SC and has loved veterinary medicine since she was in elementary school. She attended Clemson University before going to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in 2006, Dr. Jordan worked in Georgia and South Carolina before founding Crossroads Animal Hospital in July of 2008.

In 2019, Dr. Jordan became board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, specializing in Canine and Feline Practice. She is one of only two veterinarians in South Carolina who have achieved DABVP, Canine and Feline Practice. The specialty certification requires writing case reports, submitting references and professional education records in order to qualify to sit for the examination. The board examination is an extensive exam covering all body systems in dogs and cats. You can learn more about ABVP certification at abvp.com
